Learning for R.E.A.L. Compliance Training
Learning for REAL is a D49 compliance training course that covers Regulatory, Ethical, Accreditation and Legal topics. All D49 employees (part-time and full-time) are expected to review and acknowledge the content in the courses assigned to them once a year.
Along with the videos, the training includes short quizzes to test your understanding. And to make it convenient, you can start modules at your leisure and pick up where you left off at any time. Thanks to closed captioning, you'll have the option to listen to the video's audio, or watch it without sound. Once you complete all modules in the course, you can print a certificate of completion.
All members of the workforce must complete the training by the assigned due date. There are 7 total modules covering the following topics:
Child Abuse: Mandatory Reporting
D49 Employee Handbook
D49 - FERPA: Confidentiality of Records
D49 - Title IX
Discrimination Awareness in the Workplace
Sexual Harassment: Staff to Staff
Understanding Boundaries
It is estimated to take 2.5 hours to complete all modules. As with all required training, hourly-paid (ESP) employees must be paid for the time it takes to complete the training. ESP employees should coordinate this with their supervisors.
LOGIN
Vector Solutions, which powers Learning for R.E.A.L, is a single sign on, using our active directory. There are two (2) ways to access the training site:

Check your D49 email inbox. If you have assigned training, you should have received an email notification with the link to access the system. The notification will come from a “@vectorsolutions” domain or from a D49 domain. We suggest performing a universal search for “Vector” or “SafeSchools” in your inbox to determine if you have received this notification.

Use this Link and select your google account.
Your assigned courses will be on your personal Vector Solutions home page under "My Assignments." Select any course by simply clicking on the name of the course.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The Vector Training Platform is a web-based program that is accessible with an Internet connection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Platform is compatible with all recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Explorer, Safari, iOS, and Android. Despite Vector Solutions optimal accessibility, occasionally users may experience difficulty loading their training. These issues are typically device-specific and can be resolved using the troubleshooting tips below. Feel free to share these tips with any users in your organization.
If you are accessing training from a computer:

Restart your browser. Note: On a Mac you’ll need to fully quit the browser.

Make sure you are using a recent version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. If you have any pending updates, they may need to be completed to move forward with training.

Clear your browser’s cache & cookies, which are typically located under your browser's history settings.

It is possible that device-specific browser extensions and/or pop-up blockers may be interfering with your training. Try accessing the training from another browser to rule out this possibility.
If you are accessing training from a mobile device:
Our system is compatible with many mobile devices; however, some users may have personal configurations that prevent certain courses from loading. Additionally, some custom and policy courses are best displayed on a computer. If you are experiencing difficulty loading the Vector Solutions training on a personal device, try accessing the courses through a laptop or desktop computer.
