Digital Insight: Ed Tech Requests

The Education Technology Request is for any new technology, software, or application that you want to use in the classroom. This includes technology used for curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The technology you want to use must meet certain Federal, State, and District 49 standards for learning and student data privacy. For questions or concerns about this form, please contact Rachel Jeffrey from the Ed Tech Team.

Digital Insight

District 49 is committed to providing students high quality technology opportunities and giving teachers the tools they need to help all students do their best. Colorado vendors and school districts are required by the state to facilitate safe online learning experiences. District 49 is onboarding Digital Insight to support these efforts.

Digital Insight is designed to protect privacy while directing parents and staff to a single source of safe online learning tools. The used (and trusted) web resources in District 49 are available through the Approved tab. Web resources that are currently being vetted are available through the In Review tab. All resources not allowed for student use are available through the Not Approved tab.

If staff have found a reliable product that may be missing from the library, they discuss first with their principal, and then work with their building's Ed Tech Ambassador to submit an Ed Tech request. Questions about this process can be directed to Rachel Jeffrey.
