Registration and Program Info: 

Register at battleofthedistricts.walktober.com and begin logging steps 10/1. Please log your activity daily except for unforeseen circumstances when you will be able to backlog up to 3 days of activity. Registration ends 10/4 so make sure to register today.

Participate as an individual or on a team of 4-8 people. Teams must be formed by 10/4. Check out mini-challenges on Thrive Thursdays for teams to earn bonus points! District household family members 13+ are invited to join. Teams must include at least two D49 employees.

Check out the wall for weekly mini-challenges to be entered to win prizes as well.

The district that accumulates the most leaves will receive the trophy to showcase for the year. D49 let's do it together!

 

NEW Prize Categories This Year!!!

Prizes for this year's Walktober challenge look a bit different than in the past. The hope is to continue to motivate competitive spirits, encourage higher engagement, and increase overall participation. Check out the different prize categories below. What will be your goal?

Top School Prize: School/building with the highest active participation wins $200 Wellness Funds.

*Individual Prize Levels:

6,000+steps for 24+ days entry into prize drawing **($40 value 10 available)

10,000+steps for 24+ days entry into prize drawing **($50 value 10 available)

10,000+steps for 31 days entry into prize drawing **($60 value 10 available)

20,000+steps Every day a participant reaches this level they receive an entry into the prize drawing **($70 value 5 available)
*Individuals are entered into all categories in which they qualify. Limited to one prize per individual.

**Prize chosen by winners from Amazon within value limit.

Ex: If you record over 11,000 steps for 31 days your name would be entered in three times because you reached each of those levels. Additionally, if two of those days you reached 20,000 steps you receive two entries for that level of prize as well. You can only win in one of the categories but the more levels you reach the more chances you have to win!
