Contracts and Notices of Assignment

D49 is using a feature in Skyward (our HR/payroll system) to distribute contracts and notices of assignment (NOA) to employees.  The steps to view and sign your contract or NOA are as follows:

Step 1:

Log in to Employee Access.  You’ll see a login screen like this:

(You may have another accounts listed.)

Note: If you are an administrative user in Skyward, make sure you navigate to the Employee Access view.

Step 2:

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a variety of tiles. Look for and click on the tile named “Contract Letters”.  You’ll see something like this:

Step 3:

Once you click on contract letters, check the upper left hand corner to confirm that you are reviewing the correct school year. Once confirmed you can view the details of your contract or NOA.

Please note - if you do not change the year to current year, you will not see the correct contract/ NOA.

This will take you to the prepared contract or notice of assignment for your review. This document shows the details of your assignment for the 25-26 fiscal year.   Please take time to review the details of your assignment including calendar and pay information.

Step 4:

Sign the document.  In the past, we asked for signatures only on actual employment contracts.  This year, we are asking all employees to acknowledge their contract or NOA using the signing feature in Employee Access.  Signing the document is a two step process.

Step 4A:

Find and click on the “Sign” button in the upper right corner of the window.

Step 4B:

Once complete, a new window will open and you will be prompted to click the sign button again, which will create a new document with an electronic signature which completes this step.  This sign button will be located in the upper left.

Step 5 (optional):

If you wish to print a copy of your document, find and click on the Export File button in the upper right corner of the window.  This will export to a printable PDF file.
